From retail units and office blocks to care homes and hotels, each of our contracts receives the same attention to detail. Former Glory is able to offer weekly, monthly or even less frequent cycles to suit your requirements. Our weekly cycle customers can be allocated the same day and time each week. We are able to price each element of your property separately in order to provide you with a bespoke package to suit YOUR requirements. For example; if you would like the downstairs cleaning weekly, the upstairs monthly and the insides quarterly, we have the capabilities to record this information and our database will print out a report to clean each section at the allotted frequency. If you wish to alter this program once its started, its no problem, we are just a phone call away. Upon request we are able to call in advance to advise you of our planned visit, as opposed to turning up unannounced like many window cleaners have a reputation for doing so. For our Commercial Clients we provide Monthly Invoices and up to 30 days credit. All of our Health and Safety information is complete and up to date. Full Method Statements and Risk Assessments can be provided, copies of which can be sent to you for your files if required. We are fully insured and we are able to provide you with a copy of our insurance upon request.

Window Cleaning

Externally

• Former Glory use only traditional methods of cleaning. We do not use "Reach and Wash" systems but clean each window carefully by hand, ensuring that stubborn marks are scrubbed away and any drips or runs are wiped and dried immediately to prevent any watermarks. We also wipe clean all frames and sills, as standard.
• We will endeavour to find a SAFE way to clean any difficult to reach windows.

Internally

Are the insides of your windows still dirty, even though the outsides are sparkling? If so, why not take advantage of our internal window cleaning service.

• We are able to arrange appointments to clean the internal faces of your windows in order to maximise the appearance of your external cleans.
• Using our professional equipment we can make the inside face of your windows smear and streak free. We work carefully around fixtures and fittings and only ask that your window sills are cleared where possible before we begin.

Internal cleaning generally is required much less often than external cleaning, but can really make a difference to the overall appearance of your windows.

PVCu/uPVC

PVCu, such as fascia boards, window frames and sills, doors, surrounds, signage and conservatories.

Using the finest quality low abrasive PVCu cleaning product on the market we can cut through the toughest of stains without stripping any of the PVCu material of its natural qualities, this time consuming phase of the work is well worth the effort though as the results really are spectacular. Once all staining has been removed we apply a PVCu polish.

Guttering

We are able to clean gutters of debris, moss and dirt as and when required; preventing blockages which can lead to dampness and potential damage. Using specialist tools, we are able to reach all areas of guttering.

As part of this service we can also wash fascias and soffits upon request.

Conservatories

Valet Service

Former Glory does not only clean windows you know, we also provide one of the highest quality conservatory valet services in York too! Cleaning a conservatory involves far more specialist skills than just window cleaning alone, if you wish to transform your tired looking conservatory back to its "Former Glory" and you operate from in and around York, then you have come to the right place.

Our team will firstly clean the entire conservatory including the conservatory roof using soapy water and then allow it to dry. The next step is the restoration of the PVCu frames, we use the finest quality low abrasive PVCu cleaning product on the market to cut through the toughest of stains without stripping any of the PVCu material of its natural qualities, this time consuming phase of the work is well worth the effort though as the results really are spectacular. Once all staining has been removed we apply a PVCu polish, restoring the conservatory frame back to its original condition, and with one final window clean your conservatory is back to new!
